Gina Poole
Gina Poole is a photographer and filmmaker based in Ketchum, Idaho. Often working alongside her husband, Emmy-winning cinematographer Bob Poole, she has built a career in immersive conservation storytelling. Her work spans still photography and field production, contributing to documentaries for National Geographic and PBS.
Poole’s credits include National Geographic’s Man Among Cheetah and Little Giant, each filmed in Naboisho Conservancy. She also documented conservation efforts in Mozambique’s Gorongosa National Park for the six-part series Gorongosa Park: Rebirth of Paradise.
Most recently, Poole co-produced and field produced Tuskers: Brotherhood of Elephants, filmed in Kenya’s Amboseli ecosystem. Across her work, she is committed to capturing intimate wildlife stories that highlight both beauty and conservation challenges.
