Ben Friedman is an entrepreneur from Mercer Island, near Seattle, where he went to high school and used to row boats with Tyler. About a decade ago, he co-founded Homegrown, an organic restaurant inspired by the universal need for a greater commitment to environmental responsibility in food production and consumption.
