Ben Friedman is an entrepreneur from Mercer Island, near Seattle, where he went to high school and used to row boats with Tyler. He co-founded Homegrown, an organic restaurant inspired by the universal need for a greater commitment to environmental responsibility in food production and consumption. After leaving his post as CEO of Homegrown, Ben went on a year-long globetrot following his tastebuds from one destination to the next.
